Terms of Use
These terms explain the basis on which you may use ReguLead, a professional learning, development and practical-support platform for people working in UK adult social care.
About ReguLead
ReguLead is provided by REGULEAD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17420937. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Professional learning and support
ReguLead provides information, learning and professional-development support. Its guidance may need to be considered alongside the facts of an individual situation and your organisation's policies and procedures.
ReguLead does not replace:
- your professional judgement or responsibility for decisions in your role;
- your employer's or provider's policies and procedures; or
- appropriate legal, HR, safeguarding, clinical or other specialist professional advice.
You remain responsible for decisions made in your professional role. Emergencies, immediate safety concerns and safeguarding concerns should always be escalated through the appropriate channels without delay.
Information, not professional advice
ReguLead provides information, learning and professional-development support. Information provided by ReguLead is for general professional support and does not constitute legal, employment, HR, clinical or other specialist professional advice. It should not be relied upon as the sole basis for decisions where specialist advice or consideration of individual circumstances is required.
Information can change
Laws, regulations, regulatory guidance and other source material can change. ReguLead aims to use trusted sources and reviews its evidence library, but cannot guarantee that every source or response reflects every change immediately after it occurs.
Check important decisions
Before acting on information from ReguLead, users should consider the circumstances of the individual situation, check relevant current source material and their organisation's policies and procedures, and obtain appropriate professional or specialist advice where necessary.
Where ReguLead provides links to original source material, users are encouraged to consult the original source, particularly before making significant safeguarding, employment, regulatory, legal or clinical decisions.
No accreditation or outcome guarantee
ReguLead does not guarantee CQC compliance, a particular inspection outcome or rating. It does not assess or certify competence, provide a regulated qualification or accreditation, and is not endorsed or accredited by CQC.
Trusted-source material can change. ReguLead may review and update its evidence library as source material and the service develop.
Your responsibilities
- Do not enter service-user names, staff names or other unnecessary identifying personal information into Ask ReguLead or Send for Review.
- Keep access to your email account and sign-in links secure.
- Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it unlawfully or to harm others.
- Do not copy, republish or commercially exploit ReguLead's original content, branding or software without permission, except where the law allows.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep ReguLead available and useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, update or change the service and these terms where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be reflected in the current version on this page.
Subscriptions and cancellation
ReguLead subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. Payment details are collected when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, the subscription automatically continues at £9.99 per month. It is a monthly rolling subscription.
You can cancel at any time through the Stripe-hosted customer portal, available from the Me page. If you cancel during the free trial, no first monthly payment is taken. After a paid monthly period has begun, cancelling stops future renewals, and access normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Nothing in ReguLead's cancellation policy affects your statutory consumer rights. Where UK consumer law gives you a cancellation or refund right, ReguLead will honour that right.
